Whipstick: Stories From Central Victoria

In April 2018, five emerging writers gathered in the historic Mechanic’s Institute building at Eaglehawk for a writing workshop conducted by Mark Brandi, author of the award-winning crime novel, Wimmera. Their topic was Whipstick, and during the workshop and in the weeks following , they developed stories with Mark’s help.

The end result is this compilation – the first ever story collection to come out of this haunting landscape country north of Bendigo.

Featuring short stories by Wendy Bridges, Éireann Nankivell, Mary Pomfret, Bridget Robertson and Jennifer Walker Teh, along with an introduction by Lauren Mitchell and postscript by Dianne Dempsey.

Whipstick is a 4″ x 7″, 112 page book.   Full colour throughout and printed on a soft, recycled paper with a matt laminate paperback cover.
